3 people found dead in murder-suicide
Harvey County Sheriff T. Walton has identified the three people who were found dead Sunday evening.
They are: 33-year-old Travis Street,37-year-old Angela Graevs, and 52-year-old Richard Prouty. Sheriff Walton says Street and Graevs lived at the home where the three were found. Prouty lived in Newton.
Tuesday, Eyewitness News spoke with friends and family members of Street, Graevs and Prouty. No one wanted to go on camera, but they say no matter what was happening at the house in rural Harvey County, the three did not deserve to die.
We know Travis Street had an extensive criminal history. We pulled court paperwork from Harvey and McPherson Counties and found 13 separate cases. The cases involve everything from theft to drugs and guns, and child endangerment.
No further information was released about the investigation. On Streets' latest drug case he was scheduled to appear in court Nov. 17.
Angela Graevs had two cases in those counties, also involving drugs and child endangerment. We know Street and Graevs had an 18-month-old child who was found inside the home Sunday, unharmed.
On Graevs most recent drug case, she was scheduled to be in court Nov. 16.
Richard Pouty had only one criminal case from 2002. He was charged with drug possession and DUI. It was dismissed as part of a diversion program.
Eyewitness News continues to ask the Harvey County Sheriff's Office what happened leading up to the deaths of Streets, Graevs and Pouty, and if there are any suspects in the case.
